Not quite sure yet. I will say wish it had the automatic detergent dispenser plus I don't like having only 1 option for fabric softener. In addition the spin cycle when using the extra rinse the clothes are too wet so have to do another spin or two. Will also say it's not ultra quiet. I'm afraid my water and electric bills will be much higher.

I hadn't purchased a new washer in years. I've bought used ones or had a washer from a loved one who passed. After spending 4-5 weekends troubleshooting, ordering parts and repairing the last one I decided it's time to purchase a new one. I looked at the big box store brands, almost bought one with all the fancy new features that sounded amazing. Then I started really reading up on the reviews and they were horrible right from the time they were delivered. I just wanted a simple machine that worked. I had heard great things about speed queen from several friends so I stopped at a local appliance store one afternoon, bought one and haven't been disappointed. Our only issue in our old house with slightly uneven floors is that the machine walked when spinning. We simply mounted two small pieces of trim wood to the floor and now it can't walk and twist anymore. This machine is a beast, cleans great, it's quiet and fast!

We bought this because we were told by everybody, stores and appliance repair people, that this was the best of the best. Plus it came with a 5 year warranty instead of 1 or 2. It's a great machine and does a good job, but the locking mechanism broke after only 2 years. Kind of disappointed about that. Under warrantee so didn't have to pay, but still disheartening that something went wrong so soon

Massively disappointed

Spent top dollar on a SpeedQueen washing machine expecting a top of the line machine. Instead the first load of clothes came out damaged and destroyed due to a manufacturer error in the washing drum. Despite using the machine once, SQ refused to replace the machine and would only repair the brand new but unusable washing machine. Getting the repair situated through SQ has been a massive hassle with no empathy and minimal urgency. It's been over a month and the machine still isn't fixed. Massively disappointed in SQ product and will not recommend.

I have had 4 front loaders in the past 30 years. Everytime I had to call a service professional they alway would recommend a Speed Queen. I finally listens and so glad I did. I have been using for 2 months now and love it. It cleans very well and is quiet. One reason I resisted was because of out of balance loads with top loaders. I previously had a top loading "HE" machine with no agitator. It took an hour to finish a very noisy cycle on its best day. The Speed Queen is quiet and efficient and finishes a cycle within 30 minutes, even with two rinses. I am delighted to have this high quality machine made in the USA.

Not worth all the hype

I purchased a speed queen after my LG washer died after almost 20 years. This was the machine that my maintenance person recommended and was also recommended highly online. I have been greatly disappointed by the machine. Not only did I spend about $500 more than the top of the line LG, my clothes come out looking like the examples. See photos. I have tried using less detergent and more detergent. I've added vinegar and vinegar rinses. Nothing works. I have turned my leggings and black clothing inside out out and the white marks still appear. I get white marks or lint and other debris all over my clothes. Definitely would not purchase again. This machine has greatly added to my workload.

This machine is well built commercial quality. Very quiet and washes clean. We had a MayTag front loader for 15 years, when it was new it cleaned ok as it aged deteriorated and damaged clothes. Went back to a Toploader, water efficient and cleaner clothes. Well worth the money, paid $1,500.

Probably one of the best investments weve made. I have teenage boys, and went through 2 washing machines in 12 years. We do a lot of laundry. This machine is sturdy, solid and with the agitator, gets their clothes especially all the sports clothes clean. This machine is so quiet you can barely hear it run only when it's filling up with water do you hear anything? I've always recommended. These had a few people that bought them. The only thing they said is the washer drum is too small. I find it small but I loaded it up and it works perfectly. I have put powder in it just to verify it does clean very well and it leaves no residue I will be purchasing the matching dryer here soon wonderful machine.

Very basic, no fancy un-needed options. Easy to operate. Very quite, no vibrations when in spin mode. Clothes, blankets, towels and linens come out squeaky clean. I wish I would have bought one years ago. Price tag is high, but now I understand why, and it's worth it for the long run. My Maytag only lasted 7 years and was a nightmare to operate. Had to watch it during spin mode, was very unstable. Speed Queen keep up the good work, no need to cut corners to make a profit like the other washer machine companies have done over the years.

The speed queen washer came to us new out of the box. I had to wait to find a service technician to come to our location. I had 2 different service technicians out and had to pay $50 ea time they came. The second one found the issue with the lid lock that one of the wires in the wiring harness was not completely connected to the circuit it was just hanging. It took him 2 1/2 hrs to find it as it wasn't a normal issue. It is working fine now but I was without a washer for over 1 week after it was delivered.
